A 26-year-old bride-to-be, Polly Bibby’s big day got ruined due to a beauty treatment, which ended up in a severe allergic treatment. For the unversed, Polly is an illustrator based out of the United Kindgom. Just like any other bride-to-be, Polly also wanted to look her best on the big day. She wanted to flaunt her no-makeup look and tried getting eyelash treatment.

With the rise of beauty treatments and plastic surgeries, people are at more risk of severe allergic reactions. The bride, Polly thought of trying classic eyelash extensions ahead of her big day. Before the treatment she had a patch test and since she had no reaction, she proceeded with the treatment in July before her wedding day.
Polly chose a USD 88 eyelash treatment, and she was satisfied with how it looked on her. But within few hours after the treatment, came the worse. Her eyes became watery and sore and she shrugged it off as a symptom of hay fever. Soon, it was followed with sting and her eyes started sticking together with a yellow discharge.
