Superstar Prabhas made a surprise public appearance at the newly opened Allu Cinemas (owned by the Allu Arjun family) in Kokapet, Hyderabad. He attended a special screening of the action sequel Dhurandhar 2 on Wednesday evening. The actor was accompanied by director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The duo is currently working together on Spirit. They watched the movie on the prestigious Dolby Cinema screen, which is touted as one of the largest in Asia.
Videos of the Rebel Star quickly surfaced online. Fans were thrilled to see him showing respect to the craft. In one viral clip, Prabhas is seen standing with his eyes glued to the screen even as the end credits rolled. One fan noted that his passion for cinema remains unmatched. Another user commented that seeing the Spirit duo together feels special. Vanga’s intense storytelling and character-oriented action have parallels in Aditya Dhar’s style.
This is not the first time Prabhas has stepped out to support fellow filmmakers. Despite his shy nature, he infrequently visits theatres to experience cinema on the big screen. In July 2025, he watched F1 at a noted multiplex property in Hyderabad with director Prashanth Neel, his Salaar collaborator.
In earlier years, Prabhas was spotted at theatres during the releases of his own films like Chatrapathi and Billa. He enjoys gauging the audience’s live pulse during high-octane sequences. Such outings are rare for the actor due to his immense stardom. Fans always cherish these glimpses of their favourite star being a regular moviegoer. This latest visit has set the internet on fire. It shows his commitment to supporting quality theatrical experiences.
Prabhas is currently doing Hanu Raghavapudi’s Fauzi, Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2 and Spirit. Fauzi is expected to be a December 2026 release.
