Shanaya Kapoor is currently on cloud nine as her new movie Tu Yaa Main gets an OTT release. The Bejoy Nambiar directorial was released in theatres on the Valentine’s Week, on February 13, 2026. Alongside Shanaya, it starred Adarsh Gourav in a leading role. Now, the movie is scheduled to be streaming on Netflix.
Shanaya took to social media to share an adorable video of her childhood to celebrate Tu Yaa Main’s OTT release. In the video, the Aankhon ki Gustaakhiyan actress is seen being captured by dad Sanjay Kapoor. Sanjay is heard saying, “Daddy will show you in the night, daddy has to shoot you first.” Shanaya is seen flaunting her red lehenga in the video. She captioned the video as, “Always wanted to see myself on the “big tv” … And it’s going to happen tomorrow! Tu Yaa Main on Netflix!”
Shanaya and her mother Maheep keep sharing adorable photos and videos from Shanaya’s childhood. They also share her clicks with Ananya Panday, Suhana Khan and Navya Naveli Nanda from time to time.
Shanaya recently shared a photo from her childhood to wish cousin Janhvi Kapoor on her birthday. She captioned the post as, “@janhvikapoor Happy birthday love u.”
Opening up about her second theatrical release Tu Yaa Main, Shanaya once penned, “Tu yaa main came into my life at a time when I really didn’t have the most confidence in myself.. and it gave me that.. and everything more. Tu Yaa Main is now in theatres and Avani is out there surviving crocodiles. She taught me so much.. especially taught me how to be a complete BADASS. (still trying.. getting there… I think).”
