A couple of weeks ago, reports suggesting that Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan would reunite for Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK’s upcoming superhero film created considerable buzz among fans. The duo, known for sharing screen space in films like Kyon Ki, Bodyguard and Bajrangi Bhaijaan, sparked excitement with the possibility of another collaboration. However, it now appears that the two actors may not be reuniting for the project after all.
While Salman Khan will be working on the film, there has reportedly been no discussion regarding Kareena Kapoor’s involvement in it.
Bollywood Hungama quoted a source as saying, “Kareena has not even met Raj and DK or Salman Khan. The script is still being written, and the makers will proceed to casting only towards the end of June. Right now, the only actor locked for the film is Salman Khan, and there has been no conversation around the female lead.”
The source continued, “A call will be taken in June. It’s a good suggestion out of someone’s imagination to cast Kareena in the film, but unfortunately, there is no truth to the report.”

Meanwhile, this yet-untitled film will see Khan as an ageing superhero who is drawn back to action. It is produced by Atul Agnihotri and Mythri Movie Makers. Salman Khan recently made a cameo in Riteish Deshmukh’s film Raja Shivaji. The actor is also gearing up for his film Maatrubhumi: May War Rest In Peace. It was earlier titled The Battle of Galwan. He will then be seen with Nayanthara in Vamshi Paidipally’s next.
Talking of Kareena Kapoor Khan, she will be seen in Meghna Gulzar’s Daayra with Prithviraj Sukumaran.
