Shahid Kapoor married Mira Rajput on July 7, 2015, in a private wedding ceremony in Delhi. The couple had their first child, Misha Kapoor in 2016, and in 2018, they had their son, Zain Kapoor. In a recent chat with Raj Sharmani in his podcast, Figuring Out, the Kabir Singh actor admitted that he doesn’t wish for his kids to follow in his footsteps. He was heard saying:
“Kaafi saari cheeze hai, that I do not want them to take from me, I want them to be more confident inherently, which I think they both are. I wasn’t inherently that confident. Ideally, I wouldn’t want them to do my job, picture mein mat aana yaar. Kuch aur karo, Bohot up and down hota hai yaar, bohot rough hai. If they want to, it’s their choice, but I would be like, choose something simple, this is too complex.”
