Speculation about the upcoming movie starring Venkatesh Daggubati and Nandamuri Kalyanram has been put to rest. Rumours suggested the film was a remake of the 2024 Malayalam hit Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil. However, an update provided by a key member associated with the film confirms that it is an original entertainer. The gossip began because the two leading men are rumoured to play brothers-in-law. This dynamic closely mirrors the main relationship in the popular Malayalam film.

Star heroine puts the record straight
Leading lady Keerthy Suresh chose to set the record straight herself. She categorically denied the internet gossip, writing that it is not a remake. The film, which is yet to be titled, recently went on the floors and is currently in production. The makers are aiming for a theatrical release during the Sankranthi 2027 festival window.

Krithi Shetty is paired up with Kalyanram, who recently celebrated his birthday. Director Anil Ravipudi shared a special birthday note for the actor. He expressed deep gratitude for the confidence Kalyanram placed in him during his directorial debut. Ravipudi stated he is truly excited to showcase the actor in a whole new avatar. The Bimbisara star holds a special place for the filmmaker. He was the one who greenlit his very first commercial hit movie, Pataas.
Anil Ravipudi has a super-consistent track record at the box office. He is known for delivering hits packed with family comedy and action. His filmography includes major commercial successes like F2, Sankranthiki Vasthunam, and Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu.
