The makers of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups have unveiled a new track, Tabaahi, offering audiences a glimpse of a different side of Yash’s character. Known for portraying intense, larger-than-life roles, not only in the KGF franchise but also in the promotional material for Toxic. Yash is seen embracing a more romantic persona in this new song.
Composed by Vishal Mishra, Tabaahi showcases the chemistry between Yash and Kiara Advani through stylish visuals and elegant choreography. Nayanthara also makes a brief appearance in the video. Sharing the song on social media, Yash accompanied it with a well-known quote by Rumi about “a field beyond wrongdoing and rightdoing.”

A softer side amid the action
The song focuses on the growing bond between the lead pair, offering a stark contrast to the gritty world established in the film’s earlier promotional material. Towards the end of the video, a woman asks whether a selfish man like him can truly fall in love. Yash’s character replies that it is “very difficult,” hinting at an emotional conflict that could play a key role in the story. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has been shot in both Kannada and English and is scheduled to release in theatres on August 26.
A contrast to ‘Ladies & Ladies’
The release of Tabaahi follows the recently unveiled teaser, Ladies & Ladies, which shifted the spotlight to the film’s formidable female cast. The teaser introduced Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth in striking avatars, teasing a world of power, deception and intense action. With the film’s release drawing closer, the makers have stepped up promotional activities.
