The View co-host Sunny Hostin started defending her 24-year-old son, Gabriel Hostin, in June 2026, after he was cited for criminal trespassing in New Rochelle. Police said Gabriel was on active Metro-North railroad tracks near Station Plaza. In bodycam footage and a letter to prosecutors, Hostin cited her son’s clean record and 2025 Harvard graduation while asking for dismissal.
Gabriel is due in New Rochelle City Court on July 31. Prosecutors have not announced a decision. Meanwhile, the case has witnessed a new turn as the bodycam footage has been released by the police, featuring Sunny Hostin and her son.
