New Romantic Song From Toxic Explores Love Longing and Conflict Between Yash and Tara Sutaria

The makers of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups have unveiled the film’s second song, offering a softer, more emotional glimpse into Yash’s character. Released as Madhosh (Hindi), Manamohaka (Kannada), Manasaagadhe (Telugu), Thadumaarudheyyy (Tamil) and MadhuMohini (Malayalam), the romantic track centres on Yash’s Raya and Tara Sutaria’s Rebecca.

Unlike the film’s earlier promotional material, which highlighted Yash’s fierce and intimidating persona, the new song reveals a vulnerable side of the protagonist. Through moments of quiet intimacy and restrained emotion, it explores the emotional conflict and unspoken longing between Raya and Rebecca, hinting at a layered relationship at the heart of the story. Sharing the song on social media, Yash wrote, “Love begins where reason ends.”

Composed by Tanishk Bagchi, Arslan Nizami and Faheem Abdullah, the track captures the emotional journey of the two characters through themes of love, longing and playful romance. Siddharth Basrur’s vocals add depth to the composition, complementing the song’s understated emotional tone.

The new track follows Tabaahi, which featured Yash alongside Kiara Advani, and the promotional teaser Ladies & Ladies, which introduced Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth in stylish and powerful avatars. With the film’s theatrical release drawing closer, the makers have intensified promotions.
