Nancy Guthrie Update, Rare DNA Testing Leaves Investigators With More Questions Than Answers

After more than six months of Today show host Savannah Guthrie’s mother, Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance, her case has taken a new turn. The authorities recently shared that the rare DNA testing on the hair found at the 84-year-old’s home did not hint at any suspect. However, the investigators assured that they have additional forensic evidence and are examining it at multiple laboratories across the country. 

Rare Hair DNA testing in Nancy Guthrie update brings no suspect 

Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos recently shared an important update from the forensic testing on hair found at Nancy Guthrie’s home. He confirmed that the test reports did not help them to recognize anyone related to her disappearance. In his words:

“The hair was done… and there was nothing.”
