She claimed that she had been “absolutely brainwashed” by the late Playboy founder and detailed their restrictive lifestyle. Amid this, her previous statements when she spoke about cheating on Hugh, who was 60 years her senior, have resurfaced.

In her memoir, Only Say Good Things, Crystal Hefner opened up about her life with her late husband, Hugh Hefner. She revealed that even though they tied the knot on New Year’s Eve in 2012, Hugh would almost always prefer to engage in group sex with other women. However, as he got older and more frail, Crystal ended up as more of a caretaker and nurse to him, rather than his wife or lover. This was especially true in the years before his death at 91 from a superbug infection in September 2017.
Crystal admitted that the sex between them “stopped altogether” in 2014, leaving her feeling “relieved.” After keeping up with what she described as “the Playboy charade” year after year, she was glad that “there was no more going out, no more bringing girls home, no more performances.”
