At present, the jury remains deadlocked on the matter, with the reported split being 11-1.
Why is the jury split 11-1 in the Lindsay Clancy trial?
Jurors in Plymouth State Court reportedly spent over 38 hours deliberating on the charges filed against Lindsay Clancy. Before this, they had already failed to come up with a unanimous decision twice. As the same thing happened for the third time, Judge William Sullivan moved to declare a mistrial on September 4, 2026. A note sent by the jury and read out by Judge Sullivan stated:
“It is with a heavy heart that we report we are unable to come to a unanimous decision and will not be able to.”
