Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja, who have been married for 39 years, have reportedly been going through a difficult phase amid rumours of an affair and divorce. Sunita recently accused the actor of having an affair with actor Komal Rani Swarnkar, following which Govinda asked her to stay within her limits.
Amid the ongoing speculation, Govinda made a cryptic statement at the Youth Shakti Dahi Handi event in Mumbai on Saturday evening. During his interaction, the actor spoke about several things but did not directly name his wife Sunita or address her allegations.
Instead, Govinda hinted that he hoped to clear the air soon and asked his fans and supporters to continue standing by him.

The actor began his address by highlighting the cultural significance of Dahi Handi and the importance of preserving India’s traditions. He later made a cryptic reference to the discussions surrounding his personal life.
“Bhot si baatein aasman mein likh di gayi hain. Main maayi se prarthana karta hoon ki woh clean-up ho aur Govinda use clean-up kar paaye.” he said.
Govinda also expressed gratitude towards those who have supported him throughout his career.“Aap log ka sahyog chahiye, saath chahiye. Theek waise hi sahyog aur saath chahiye jaise yahan par dekhne ko milega,” he added.
Govinda thanked his fans for their continued support over the years, saying, “I thank all of you for supporting me year after year.” The actor concluded his address by asking fans to pray for him as he looks to move ahead. “Govinda aage nikal paye aisi prarthana kijiye,” he said. The actor also revealed that he is set to make a comeback with two films, Roopa and Duniyadari.Govinda’s remarks have come amid renewed attention surrounding Sunita’s allegations and ongoing reports about trouble in their marriage.
