Upasana Kamineni Konidela Visits Kamakhya Temple Puts Out Strong Message

Upasana Konidela flaunted her spiritual side! She visited the sacred Kamakhya temple (Guwahati, Assam) and sought divine blessings on Friday. Her visit to the historic temple carried a simple yet striking message for women.

Expose the Devi. Destroy the DeviL

Interestingly, she played two words separated by just one letter; the message reflects a deeper thought. “Maa Kamakhya exposes the Devi & destroys the DeviL in us! New Beginnings. Divine Shakti Dharma Seva Karma,” Upasana captioned. She indicates that every woman carries within her the strength of the Devi and must find the courage to confront and destroy the fears, negativity and forces that diminish her power.

One of India’s most revered Shakti Peethas, the Kamakhya temple empowers women as sacred manifestations of divine power (Shakti). And Upasana is someone who believes that women should be recognised for their own achievements and professional contributions. She has been championing women’s empowerment, financial independence, and maternal-child health. Hence, her visit to the historic temple, an enduring symbol of feminine energy and transformation, made the message natural and significant.

While the ancient shrine is a powerful global symbol of divine feminine energy, creation, and strength, Upasana visited the temple to seek spiritual grounding and pay respects to the divine feminine. And her empowering message centred on the inner strength of women.

Embracing change

Upasana’s visit also symbolises a moment of renewal, embracing change. It’s a powerful message from a powerful place, signalling strength, transformation and new beginnings. The thought is closely aligned with her continuing work around women’s empowerment.

“The Devi is already within every woman. Sometimes we simply need the courage to recognise her, bring her forward and destroy whatever holds her back. Every ending also creates space for a new beginning.” She urges us to leave behind what no longer serves us, and Upasana also welcomes powerful new beginnings that are sure to unfold soon.
