Beauty in Black is Tyler Perry’s Netflix thriller about ‘Kimmie,’ a stripper fighting to survive, and ‘Mallory,’ heiress to the Bellarie hair empire. Premiering in October 2024, it crossed one billion hours watched. Netflix said in December 2025 that Season 3 was the final installment, but later reversed it.
On July 23, 2026, it was renewed for a fourth season, with Perry saying the family’s story isn’t finished. Filming is scheduled between October 19 and October 30, 2026, in Atlanta and Chicago, eyeing a spring 2027 release.
