The Tamil thriller, Vidaamuyarchi is heading towards its digital release. While it didn’t perform prominently at the box office, many speculate that it might do well on OTT. To find a stronger connection with audiences, the movie is reportedly releasing on Netflix on March 28, 2025. However, the same hasn’t been officially announced.
It is based on the 1997 American thriller Breakdown. Vidaamuyarchi is directed by Magizh Thirumeni and produced by Subaskaran Allirajah. It is also gearing up for its television release. A renowned channel has acquired the satellite rights to premiere the movie around Tamil New Year celebrations.
Alongside Ajith Kumar, the film also stars Arjun Sarja, Trisha Krishnan, Regina Cassandra, Arav, and Ramya Subramanian. The story revolves around a couple, whose happy trip turns upside down when the woman is abducted by strangers.
