Filmfare was the first to report that Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt are all set to tie the knot this month. The actor has now officially confirmed the news. The wedding will be an intimate affair, held at Aamir’s residence in the presence of close friends and family.
Speaking to the paparazzi recently, Aamir confirmed that he will marry his partner, Gauri Spratt, on July 5. He said, “Haan, meri shaadi ho rahi hai 5 July ko, aur bahut hi chhoti si shaadi hai. Ghar par hi kar rahe hain, dono families ke saath. Bahut hi khaas din hai humare liye. Sabki duayein aur blessings chahenge. Prarthana karein ki hum khush rahein aur humara safar achha rahe (Yes, I am getting married on July 5, and it is going to be an intimate wedding. We are hosting it at home with both our families. It is a very special day for us. We seek everyone’s prayers and blessings. Please pray for our happiness and a wonderful journey ahead).”

Aamir Khan was previously married to Reena Dutta, with whom he has two children, Junaid and Ira, and later to filmmaker Kiran Rao. Together, Kiran and Aamir have a son named Azad. His divorce from Kiran in 2021 was handled with the kind of dignity and mutual warmth that became a template for how public separations can be done right.
He introduced his partner Gauri last year during his 60th birthday celebration with the media. Gauri has a seven-year-old son, Quinn, from her previous marriage. Her grandfather, Philip Spratt, was a British-born Communist who came to India in the 1920s and later became involved in India’s freedom movement.
