Allu Arjun reportedly appeared virtually before a Hyderabad court on Monday in connection with the Pushpa 2 premiere stampede case. The court reviewed the matter and adjourned the hearing to July 29.
The actor was unable to appear in person as he is currently shooting for his upcoming film, Raaka. His legal team had earlier sought permission for him to attend the proceedings virtually, citing his outdoor shooting schedule. Several other individuals named in the case were also absent during the hearing.

The premiere that turned tragic
In December 2024, a massive crowd gathered outside Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad during the premiere of Pushpa 2 to catch a glimpse of Allu Arjun. The situation reportedly turned chaotic, resulting in a stampede in which a woman lost her life and her nine-year-old son sustained serious injuries.
Following the incident, the police registered a case naming more than 20 individuals, including the actor. Investigators have alleged that Allu Arjun did not comply with police instructions during the event. The matter is currently under judicial consideration.

Raaka and AA23 keep Allu Arjun busy
Meanwhile, the Icon Star is focused on completing Raaka, directed by Atlee Kumar. The big-budget sci-fi entertainer reportedly features Deepika Padukone in a key role and requires Allu Arjun to sport a completely new look.
After wrapping up Raaka, he is expected to begin work on his 23rd film, tentatively titled AA23. The pan-India project will be directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
Rumours are also circulating that the Vikram and Leo director has conceptualised a special promotional video featuring the actor to surprise fans. The teaser is expected to offer a first glimpse of Allu Arjun’s new avatar ahead of the film’s production, which is likely to begin early next year.
