Celebrity wedding photographer Joseph Radhik recently shared his experience capturing Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli’s wedding, describing it as an intimate and joyful celebration. Speaking at an event, he reflected on how the wedding felt less like a formal event and more like a close-knit gathering. He emphasised that the ceremony had warmth which allowed everyone to truly enjoy the moment, calling it the very definition of a perfect wedding.
The star couple exchanged vows in December 2017 in a private ceremony in Italy; the ceremony was attended by just 40 people, including close family and friends. Wedding filmmaker Vishal Punjabi of ‘The Wedding Filmer’ had also previously spoken about the exclusivity of the event, describing it as an incredibly beautiful and peaceful occasion.
He noted how the couple managed to create a magical environment, free from distractions, allowing them to fully immerse themselves on their special day. The setting in Tuscany added to the charm, making it one of the most stunning weddings he had ever filmed.
Anushka and Virat first crossed paths in 2013 during a commercial shoot and their relationship remained private until their wedding four years later. Since then, the couple has built a beautiful family, welcoming their daughter Vamika in January 2021 and their son Akaay in February 2024.
Their wedding remains one of the most cherished and talked about celebrity celebrations, remembered for its elegance and heartfelt simplicity.
