The British Academy of Film and Television Arts revealed the BAFTA Awards 2025 Longlist and Payal Kapadia’s All We Imagine As Light received three nominations. The film bagged nominations in the categories – Best Director, Original Screenplay and Best Film not in the English language.
This comes amid a row of awards and nominations that the film has been bagging.
Recently, the film won the Best International Feature at the 2024 Online Association of Female Film Critics’ Awards. It has also been nominated for the Golden Globe Awards for Best Director – Motion Picture (Payal Kapadia became the first Indian director to be nominated in this category) and Best Motion Picture Non-English Language categories. Last year, it made history by becoming the first Indian film to win the Grand Prix at Cannes 2024.
Meanwhile, All We Imagine As Light is currently streaming on OTT. The film stars Kani Kusruti, Divya Prabha and Chhaya Kadam among others.
