According to a recent report by TMZ, Beyoncé is being dragged to court over the alleged unauthorized use of a sample on her hit song, Alien Superstar. The court documents obtained by the news outlet have revealed that a company named Hirose Enterprise and a producer named Shuji Hirose are suing Beyoncé and various music companies for alleged copyright infringement.
The news came out in the late hours of August 10, 2026 (ET). In the document submitted to the court, Hirose has alleged that they own the rights to a song titled Moonraker, performed by John Holiday. The company further explained that the “spoken world introduction” in Beyoncé’s Alien Superstar samples the same track.
