Singer and songwriter Carly Simon recently revealed that she is learning how to live with Parkinson’s, which she sometimes calls a frightening condition. Carly was almost married for twenty years to James Hart, and they separated in 2007. This is because, 13 years after the marriage, James Hart, also known as Jim, realised that he was attracted to men and was gay.

Carly Simon had thought that she had found her love in poet Jim Hart after her ugly split from singer James Taylor. However, Carly and Jim Hart’s dream wedding soon had turned into a nightmare. He had confessed in his memoir of being addicted to drugs that included crystal meth and cocaine.
James Hart had also stated that he was attracted to men while being married to the You’re So Vain singer. James Hart and Carly Simon had married in 1987, but 13 years later their marriage had started to break down. Hart had realized that he could not ignore his feelings for men. Hart had started going to gay strip clubs, chat lines and also bathhouses.
