Coco Jones is going through one of the best phases of her life. According to reports, the singer tied the knot with Donovan Mitchell during the NBA offseason. Their wedding comes just over a year after they announced their engagement. The videos and pictures from the ceremony have already begun doing the rounds on the internet, leaving fans gushing. Amid this, here’s a look at when Coco called her marriage the “biggest contract” ever.
Coco Jones felt ‘intimidated’ but ‘powerful’ after her engagement to Donovan Mitchell
During an interview with People, Coco Jones talked about how serious a commitment marriage truly is. She claimed that since she always thought of her life as business, when it came to her own marriage, she took a moment to think about how it would be the “biggest contract” that she would have to sign. And even though she often sings about forever, once she tied the knot with Donovan Mitchell, it really would be just that. She said:
“I think about my life so much like business, and I’m like, ‘Girl, you got to stop. This is the biggest contract I’ve ever signed.’ You know what I’m saying? This is a real-life, forever commitment. I talk about forever, I sing about forever, and then I’m like, ‘Oh, this really is forever. Okay, word up, word up.'”
