The couple welcomed their son a few months back, and the actress has now opened up about the debate on her son’s religion.
Devoleena Bhattacharjee reveals if her son will follow Hinduism or Islam
Devoleena Bhattacharjee, who has been away from the spotlight for a long time, made a rare appearance on her Bigg Boss 13 contestant, Paras Chhabra’s talk show. During the conversation, Paras asked if her son would be ‘Abdul’ (Muslim) or Ram (Hindu) when he grows up. The question made her laugh, and the actress shared that her son would be a complete Indian. In her words:
“Indian bann ne wala hai, total Indian, Bhartiya bann ne wala hai. I think we have a very beautiful concept, agar hum bolte hai na ki, ek lifestyle jeene ke liye aapko ek dharam chaiye, but ek bacche ko agar, dono dharam se achi Cheeze mil rahi hai, wo achha sikh raha hai toh wo ek acha insan banega, I isse acha toh kuch ho nahi sakta.”
