Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal and Gabriella Demetriades have tied the knot. The couple walked into the Sub-Registrar’s office in Mapusa, North Goa, and got their marriage registered under the state’s Uniform Civil Code. Nothing flashy here; no big fat wedding, just paperwork and a quiet moment that has been years in the making.
They have been together since 2018, and things got official on the engagement front late last year, when they dropped the news casually during a chat on Rhea Chakraborty’s podcast. They have always kept things low-key.
Marriage is just a formality
The couple already has two sons, Arik and Ariv, so this feels more like a formality than a fresh start. Arjun Rampal’s daughters from his earlier marriage to Mehr Jesia are reportedly close to Gabriella too, so it sounds like one big, blended family. The actual marriage certificate should land in about 15 days.
Gabriella began modelling at just 16 in South Africa and made a name for herself pretty fast. She began working on campaigns for brands. Her big break into the Indian market came when she took part in the Miss Indian Premier League (IPL) Bollywood contest in South Africa in 2009, finishing third. She was ranked in FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women in the World list in 2010.
How Arjun got close to Gabriella
Arjun’s divorce with Mehr was finalized in 2019. When asked about the loneliest period he has faced while on the show Cancelled to Crown, the actor clarified that it was not about being physically alone, but rather a lack of connection with himself. Arjun credited his partner, Gabriella, for providing essential support during the tough phase. “I was very lucky because I got somebody like Gabriella into my life who I think was a very strong anchor and was also coming from a space of maybe a lot of darkness as well,” the Dhurandhar actor shared recently.
