Almost a year after Samantha Ruth Prabhu repurposed her wedding gown, there seems to be an interesting development about her engagement ring. According to jeweller influencer Dhrumit Merulia, the actress has converted her engagement diamond ring into a pendant after her divorce with Naga Chaitanya.
In his video, Dhrumit said, “Samantha Ruth Prabhu converted her ex-engagement ring into a pendant. And the reason is much more interesting than the price. Samantha was married to Naga Chaitanya also an actor and he proposed to her with this ring – a huge 3 carrot princess cut diamond and look now what she’s wearing. She basically remade something she loved, and this is not the first time either.
Diamond Ring Costs Rs 48 Lakh
According to him, this is called a revenge diamond, and the natural version of the price of the diamond would typically cost around INR 48, 52, 000, and the lab would cost INR 1, 35, 000.” He states that Samantha isn’t the only one who has repurposed her engagement ring after the divorce, but this seems to be a growing trend. Many people are buying new divorce rings to celebrate their new life, he adds. Interestingly Samantha has not responded to these reports. But speculations triggered after many found a resemblance between the pendant and the original ring. The video is doing rounds on the Internet.
