You read it right, reports claimed that the Haunted Mansion attraction will open in July 2026 for weddings. This news came after October 2025, when it was reported that a guest passed away after she faced detoriated health condition after riding the Haunted Mansion attraction.
It’s a horror-themed dark ride attraction located at Disneyland, Magic Kingdom, and Tokyo Disneyland and has been in operation for over a decade. If the reports are to be believed, the Haunted House attraction was one of the last projects under Walt Disney’s direction. As the Haunted Mansion has now opened for wedding ceremonies, people have been left excited, but couples who would want to exchange their vows here would surely have to spend a scary amount. Disneyland opens the Haunted Mansion attraction for weddings, and the scary budget is out
According to a press release dated February 4, 2026, the Haunted Mansion attraction will open in July 2026, and the front courtyard will be available for the early-morning ceremonies, before the park opens. As per the press release, the courtyard will accomodate upto 25 guests. The price tag has been said to be between USD 25K to USD 40K, and it will include floral decor, photography, Disney entertainment, a dedicated officiant and transcription to and from a Disneyland Resort hotel.
