In a recent interview with Pinkvilla’s Hindi Rush, Divyanka Tripathi’s husband, Vivek Dahiya, got candid about her postpartum depression. He stated that postpartum depression is very real. Vivek explained that mothers go through several hormonal and physical changes after giving birth. He shared that one of the biggest challenges that moms go through is coming to terms with the changes in their bodies. He added that his wife Divyanka also lost her core strength after giving birth to twins. He was quoted as saying:
“Postpartum depression is real. Because, you know, there are so many changes. There are hormonal changes. The mother starts realising, ‘My body is no longer the body I had before.’ You know, ‘I now have to live with this.’ And it is very difficult. Suddenly, it feels like jelly here. The core that you had is suddenly not there at all.”
