Erika Kirk is remembering her late husband, Charlie Kirk, one year after his assassination with a deeply personal tribute. On Thursday, September 10, 2026 (ET), the Turning Point USA CEO shared a black-and-white wedding photo of herself holding hands with Charlie, captioning the image simply, “until Heaven.”
Erika’s post came at the first anniversary of Charlie’s assassination at the Utah Valley University campus. To mark the occasion, supporters, friends, and TPUSA members gathered in Utah to remember the conservative activist.

Charlie, the founder of Turning Point USA, was fatally shot on September 10, 2025, while speaking at Utah Valley University. His death at age 31 left Erika raising their two young children and eventually stepping into a leadership role at the organization he founded.
