Brynn’s mother revealed in a statement to a news outlet that she took her own life. She was heartbroken at what happened but wanted people to remember her for the life she lived. On July 28, 2026, a vigil was held for her at American Fork Amphitheatre, where people wore yellow to honour her memory and wrote notes for her. Brynn’s mother said:
“She took her own precious life, but she is more than what happened to her.”
