EXCLUSIVE: Chris Pratt on reuniting with the Russo brothers for The Electric State

Six years after Avengers: Endgame, Chris Pratt has reunited with the Russo brothers for The Electric State. The dystopian sci-fi film sees him team up with Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown. Based loosely on Simon Stalenhag’s graphic novel of the same name, the film follows a young woman who teams up with a former soldier to find her younger brother. In an exclusive interview with Filmfare, Pratt opened up about his experience of working on the film.

Chris Pratt, who played Peter Quill aka Star-Lord in the Russo Brothers’ films from the Infinity saga shared that he was thrilled to join the director duo on The Electric State. “Yes, it was really nice, this reunion. I worked with them in the first couple of Avengers movies – Infinity War and Endgame. I only got to work with them for about a total of 20 days on both movies. I felt very much, as if I was, a supporting cast member there. But in this one, I got to walk right through the front door,” he shared.

Pratt also revealed that he would do it again. Opening up about working with the Russos to flesh out his character, Keats, Pratt added, “I was with them from the beginning, right from the script. I got to be instrumental in creating the character. They were super collaborative. So it was a really wonderful experience to work with them. And I would jump at the chance to do it again. They run a tight ship.”
