In one of the glimpses, the actress is receiving her honours at the convocation ceremony. She was snapped on stage wearing her graduation robe, complemented by a red scarf and matching cap. She was seen proudly holding her degree as the emcee applauded the newly minted doctors of the 2020 batch.
Interestingly, the actress comes from a medical family. Her mother, Dr. Swarnalatha, is a renowned gynaecologist and infertility specialist with over two decades of experience.
“Congratulations Sreeleela,” one fan wrote. Another commented, “She’s beauty with brains.” One social media user said, “We were waiting for this day. Congratulations to her and her family.”
Sreeleela also adopted two differently abled children, Guru and Shobhitha, from an orphanage. During an interview with Galatta Plus, she said, “I fall short of words and get jittery when I talk about it. But it’s taken care of… I am not a mother mother because there’s an entirely different story to that.”
On the professional front, Sreeleela is currently gearing up to make her Bollywood debut, alongside Kartik Aaryan. The movie remains untitled, but the teaser of the film had revealed Kartik in a rugged rockstar avatar. Fans had also appreciated Sreeleela and Kartik’s chemistry in the glimpses. The film is said to be an Anurag Basu and Pritam musical.
She will also be seen starring in Ustaad Bhagat Singh with Pawan Kalyan. The film is releasing on March 26, 2026. She will next be seen with Dhanush. The movie’s name has been tentatively titled D55.
