The Filmfare Awards Marathi 2026 are just around the corner. Marking the 11th edition of the prestigious awards, the coveted Black Lady continues its legacy of celebrating excellence in Marathi cinema. For over a decade, the awards have honoured outstanding talent, remarkable performances and exceptional storytelling across the industry. This year promises to be no different as the finest films and artists come together for a grand celebration of Marathi cinema.

Date & Venue
The Filmfare Awards Marathi 2026 will take place on August 6 at Sahara Star, Mumbai.
Hosts
Actors Siddharth Chandekar and Amey Wagh are all set to host the grand evening.
Where to Watch
The awards ceremony will premiere soon on Sony Marathi. The telecast date and time will be announced shortly.
Nominations
Across the Popular and Technical categories, this year’s nominations celebrate the very best of Marathi cinema. Dashavatar leads the race with 22 nominations, followed by Ata Thambaycha Naay! and Gondhal with 19 nominations each, while April May 99 has secured 17 nominations. The Best Film category features April May 99, Ata Thambaycha Naay!, Dashavatar, Fussclass Dabhade, Jarann and Sthal – A Match, reflecting the diverse and compelling stories that defined Marathi cinema this year.
Meanwhile, the Best Actor (Male) category includes Amey Wagh (Fussclass Dabhade), Bharat Jadhav (Ata Thambaycha Naay!), Dilip Prabhavalkar (Dashavatar), Lalit Prabhakar (Aarpar), Mahesh Manjrekar (Devmanus), and Siddharth Chandekar (Fussclass Dabhade). The Best Actor (Female) nominees are Amruta Subhash (Jarann), Hruta Durgule (Aarpar), Renuka Shahane (Devmanus), Sai Tamhankar (Gulkand), and Sajiri Joshi (April May 99), recognising some of Marathi cinema’s most celebrated performers.
