The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has set new rules and regulations after India lost to New Zealand and Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. New Zealand whitewashed India, while Australia won the five-match test series. The BCCI conducted a review meeting after India lost, and according to the new protocol, the family time of players has been restricted. They must take part in domestic cricket and have been told to travel by bus. Now, Harbhajan Singh sent a blunt text to BCCI. Here’s what happened.
Harbhajan Singh sends a blunt message to the Board of Control for Cricket in India
Earlier, in an interview with PTI, Harbhajan reacted to BCCI’s policies and the legend said that team India did not lose the match due to family members of the cricketers. He said ignorance was the issue and felt India did not lose the Border-Gavaskar Trophy to Australia due to cricketers’ wives or family members. Harbhajan said:
“Hum log mudde se bhatak rahein hain. We didn’t lose 1-3 because wives and partners were there for two months. We didn’t lose because someone travelled separately. We didn’t bat well even at home. We have players who are horribly out of form. What are the course corrections being made? Or is it just these off-the-field things being discussed?”
