Nancy has been missing for more than six days after she failed to show up for her Sunday Church service in Tucson, Arizona. No suspects have been arrested yet, and in the meantime, Savannah’s friend, Hoda Kotb, has returned to the Today Show. She joined on February 6, 2026, and on her live show, she became emotional and spoke about Savannah’s mom, Nancy.

Savannah Guthrie’s friend, Hoda Kotb, joined Carson Daly, Sheinelle Jones, and Craig Melvin and was seen showing support to Savannah. Hoda had an emotional appearance as she rejoined the Today Show, which she left in January 2025. Hoda worked with her friend, Savannah, for seven years, and on her show, spoke about how everyone has been praying for the safe return of Savannah’s mom, Nancy. Hoda, on her show, spoke about how there has been a massive show of support from individuals, people are posting positive thoughts online, and there is just a lot of hope. Hoda, in her emotional speech, wrote:

This morning, the love for Savannah and her family brings some light in the agonising search for mother Nancy. As Americans heed Savannah’s call to ‘Please Pray’, Nancy’s community and her two sons have been keeping their faith and joining the search. Well, the video played by Savannah and her siblings has touched millions.”
