Australian cricket legend Brett Lee may have spent much of his career in the spotlight, but when it comes to his personal life, the former fast bowler has largely preferred to keep things private. The 49-year-old returned to the headlines with his take on India’s teenage cricket sensation, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi.
While Lee is best remembered for terrifying batters with his express pace, the new comments have sparked renewed interest in the cricketing icon’s family life, including his wife, Lana Anderson, and their three children.
Brett Lee’s advice to Vaibhav Sooryavanshi
Lee’s comments came as Sooryavanshi continues to attract worldwide attention after his breakthrough IPL season. The former Australian fast bowler recently praised the 15-year-old’s extraordinary batting ability, saying he did not care whether the teenager was 15, 17 or 18, insisting that “this kid can play cricket.” But he also urged people not to put too much pressure on him, emphasizing that Sooryavanshi still needs to be allowed to be a child.
