US Vice President, JD Vance and his wife Usha Vance are in the happiest phase of their lives as couple welcomed their fourth child. JD Vance was overwhelmed by his feelings for Usha during their college
JD Vance and Usha Vance first crossed paths at Yale Law School and became friends. The duo connected through a class writing assignment in which they were paired as partners. In his 2016 memoir, Hillbilly Elegy, Vance recalled being overwhelmed by his feelings for Usha and how friends noticed his lovesickness. When he got to know about Usha’s single status, Vance revealed his feeling to her and the duo began dating.
Usha and Vance came from different cultures and had different religious beliefs. Usha Bala Chilukuri was born in the suburb of California to Telugu Indian immigrants and her parents were Telugu brahmins. Vance, on the other hand was a born Christian. However, despite their differing backgrounds, the couple navigated cultural and personal challenges together and got married in 2014.
