
Kiran Bedi is the first Indian woman to join the officer ranks in IPS. She was the 24th Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry from May 28 2016 to February 16 2021. Kiran Bedi’s journey is undoubtedly inspirational, and she is an idol to many. Talking about her personal life, Kiran got married to Brij Bedi in 1972. And three years later, they became parents to their daughter, Saina Bedi. Recently, Kiran made it to the headlines after reports claimed that an unauthorised investigation had shed light on the fact that Kiran had run a secret surveillance operation on her daughter back in 2003.

Amid Kiran Bedi trending all over the internet, another video resurfaced. This video was of Kiran Bedi’s granddaughter, Meher Bharucha, the daughter of Saina Badi and Ruzbeh Bharucha. In the video, Meher shared her side of the story and questioned her grandmom. The video appeared to be a selfie video and was recorded in her room, wherein the little one revealed being happy while staying with her dad. In the clip, she addressed her mom, Saina Bedi, and stated that she doesn’t want to live with her mom or her dad. She mentioned that she’s ashamed to be the granddaughter of Kiran Bedi. Meher could be quoted as saying:
“I and Daddy don’t want to live with you. We want to be away from you. I am very ashamed to be the granddaughter of Dr Kiran Bedi.”
