He has often been pictured holding the pillow, posing in front of the media. His fans keep wondering about his habit with the same, and now Aamir’s ex-wife, Kiran Rao, has addressed the reason. She revealed the reason behind Aamir’s airport look while holding a pillow.

Aamir Khan’s former wife, Kiran Rao, opened up about his obsession with the takiya. During an interview with ANI, Kiran started off by saying that she and Aamir have been divorced for a while, and his look is entirely his own. But that takiya has been a constant. He goes on to every flight with that pillow and leaves with that pillow. He likes to sleep. Kiran shared:
“Akshay has that track pants with one arm up and down. I guess it’s an eccentricity that some people have. I feel like also in someway it distinguishes one from the next. It’s almost like I am happy that Aamir does. He’s comletely happy to be himself and people’s opinion doesn’t bother him and that actually helped me me lot. When you are a person from a very middle class family suddenly going to occassions where you are not equipped to deal with a lot of things.”
