The triple murder case involving former Massachusetts nurse Lindsay Clancy has not only been one of the most closely watched criminal trials, but also one of the saddest ones at that. The latest development comes days after a Massachusetts judge declared a mistrial in Clancy’s high-profile case after jurors failed to reach a unanimous verdict over whether she was criminally responsible for the deaths of her three children.
Clancy was charged with three counts of first-degree murder in connection with the January 2023 deaths of her children, Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months old. Her attorney, Kevin Reddington, has maintained that Clancy was suffering from severe postpartum psychosis at the time and was not criminally responsible for the killings.
