The gritty action drama, laced with romance and mass elements, has caught the attention of several prominent personalities from the Telugu film industry.

Superstar Mahesh Babu, who is currently headlining SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus Varanasi, wrote that he “thoroughly enjoyed” the trailer. He added that Akhil had “brought so much heart and fire to this role.” The Guntur Kaaram star further said, “Simply loved watching you own every frame,” before predicting that a blockbuster is loading in theatres.
Ram Charan, whose recent release Peddi has been a box-office hit, said the trailer looked “fantastic”. Describing his longtime friend Akhil as his “dearest brother”, the RRR star added that he “looks absolutely explosive.”

Akhil’s conviction and hard work
Natural Star Nani wished Akhil a “big success” with Lenin. He added, “Loved the trailer and all the effort and hard work shows in each frame.” The actor, who is currently working on The Paradise, also wished producers Akkineni Nagarjuna and S. Naga Vamsi a “winner.”

SS Karthikeya, one of the producers of Varanasi, described the trailer as a “total blast.” The RRR line producer further wrote, “Akhil, this looks like your best yet… You seem born for this role… the fire, the conviction, all of it!! Madly waiting for this, my brother.”
Twists and surprises
Lenin stars Bhagyashri Borse as Bharati, a stage artist and the hero’s love interest. Director Murali Kishor Abburu has also cast Sivaji, Easwari Rao, Sunil, and Getup Srinu in prominent roles. Speculation is rife that the male protagonist has a surprise up his sleeve in relation to his friend’s character. S. Thaman has composed the music for the film, which is set to release on July 10.
