Who is Jason Shah?
Jason Shah was born on December 14, 1987, in Ireland. He comes from a diverse family background, with an American father, a British mother, and a Gujarati Indian stepfather. But do you know Jason’s first dream was to become a cricketer? Yes, you read it right. In a 2024 interview with TOI, Jason shared that he wanted to play for India. But because of his British passport, he couldn’t play for India. In his words:
“I love cricket; it was my first dream to be a cricketer. I really wanted to play for India. But because of my British Passport, I couldn’t play for India, as we had to play the Ranji Trophy. I was quite good; I was bowling about 140 when I was 17.”
