Kaziah Liz Mejo, a 19-year-old student from Kerala, has been crowned Miss Universe India 2026. Among 53 contestants, Kaziah Liz Mejo won the title of ‘Miss Universe India’ at the finale of the prestigious pageant, which took place in Jaipur on August 23, 2026. Among others, Vaishnavi Gannesh from Tamil Nadu became the 1st runner-up, while Anushri Satavlekar from Gujarat became the 2nd runner-up.

Kaziah Liz Mejo was born in 2007 and grew up in Abu Dhabi, UAE. She completed her studies at Emirates National School, St Joseph’s School, and Abu Dhabi Indian School. She began her career early as a teen. At the age of 17, Kaziah Liz Mejo became Miss Teen Diva (2024). Following this, Kaziah Liz Mejo emerged as the first runner-up of Miss Teen International 2025, and this year she is also the youngest to emerge as Miss Universe Kerala.
