The actress revealed that she is in an open relationship and does not have any primary partner as such in her life. Milind Soman’s ex, Shahana Goswami, revealed in an interview with Siddharth Kannan that conventional relationships were not at all made for her. After her breakup with Milind, she felt that the traditional relationship formula did not make any sense to her. Shahana shared that when she met restaurateur, Mauro Gazzi, she decided to approach relationships very differently and came to love being in open relationships. It did not have any rules, labels and explaining what it meant, she said:
“It means open and honest communication with whoever you are with, being able to truly understand what kind of person your partner is and working on yourself. At this point, I don’t even have one primary partner like that. I have many people with whom I have long-standing dynamics, but it’s not casual. None of it is casual for me.”
