
Mackenzie Shirilla’s name has been in the news after the release of the Netflix documentary, The Crash. While Mackenzie and her family kept stating that she had no role in the death of her boyfriend, Dominic Russo, and Davion, the court found her guilty and stated that she knowingly crashed the car, which caused the deaths of Dominic and Davion. Now, a new audio of Mackenzie’s call with her mother from prison has surfaced on the internet.

In a new phone call from Mackenzie Shirilla to her mother, she revealed her true and honest feelings about the trial testimony and how the victims’ families’ statements influenced the trial’s verdict. Strongsville police released hours of audio between Mackenzie and her mother. In one of the calls, Mackenzie discussed being worried about her stuff, and she knew that they had judgment about her. In another call, Mackenzie talked about the victim’s mother and brother’s statements. She stated that her friend, Davion, who died in the crash, his mother knew nothing about her. But what Miss Russo and Angelo talked about was crazy. She said:
“I understand Davion’s mom and how they were saying things because they don’t know me…but it’s just what Miss Russo and Angela said that was just crazy.”
