It has been three months since Savannah Guthrie’s mother, Nancy, disappeared from the Tucson home in Arizona. Savannah, the co-host of the TODAY show, along with her full family and the FBI are putting in all efforts to find the old lady. However, there has not been any major breakthrough in the case. Now, a former supervisory special agent called Lance Leising, who had 23 years of experience, revealed that Nancy’s case could be shut and suspected something strange.
Ex-FBI agent reveals that Nancy Guthrie’s case can be closed due to lack of updates
Lance Leising, an ex-FBI agent, revealed that he had suspected something strange about Nancy’s case. He sat down for an interview with the Arizona Republic and revealed that investigators are reviewing evidence to determine what was missing. A lack of updates from law enforcement did not mean that all the visible leads were exhausted. As quoted by AZ Central, Leising had said:
“There were press conferences, press releases, and statements by the family. All those were very smart, because they kept the attention and drove tips. Now you don’t see that at all, which is odd. Maybe they don’t have the evidence they need to charge, or they don’t have the evidence they need to ultimately get there. Now, that’s a possibility. It’s kind of a hopeful possibility—but it’s a possibility.”
