Amid the controversy, director, Buchi Babu Sana made a big move.
Peddi‘s director responded to backlash surrounding Janhvi Kapoor with a major move
Peddi director, Buchi Babu Sana took note of concerns regarding some scenes featuring the 29-year-old, Janhvi Kapoor. He addressed the accusations of oversexualising and objectifying the actress in the role of ‘Achiyyamma’ and took the necessary steps. Buchi didn’t shy away from addressing the issue and taking the necessary steps to improve the situation. He then put the audience and the actors at ease by sharing his big decision. The director confirmed that Janhvi’s controversial scenes will be edited out of the film due to the massive audience backlash. He was quoted as saying:
“After reviewing the feedback, we have decided to make changes to the concerned portions.
