Priyanka Chopra Jonas recently hopped on Instagram’s latest viral trend, “It’s Kinda Chic”, and gave it her own personal spin. The trend is all about taking ordinary, unexpected or unconventional moments and confidently reframing them as stylish. Priyanka used it to look back at different chapters of her life and career, reflecting on her choices and milestones.
The first photo was a throwback from her early days in the industry, where she could be seen posing in a bikini. She captioned it, “Kinda chic to have been underestimated.” The next picture was a still of Priyanka singing, which she captioned, “Kinda chic to start over in your 30s.” In another photo, she wrote, “Kinda chic to stand out,” followed by, “Kinda chic to play more… unless it’s the victim.”
She then shared a picture from one of her film sets and wrote, “Kinda chic to move continents without a plan.”
Priyanka also revisited her early years in the industry with an old picture featuring Dia Mirza and Amrita Arora. She captioned the photo, “Kinda chic to have started as a baddie.”
Taking the trend into her personal life, Priyanka shared a picture with her husband Nick Jonas and wrote, “Kinda chic to have met your husband at the Met Gala.” She then shared a goofy picture with Joe Jonas, captioning it, “Kinda chic to wake up and choose violence.”
In another heartwarming moment, Priyanka shared a picture of Nick applying sindoor to her forehead and wrote, “Kinda chic to marry my Bollywood hero.” She also included a picture of her daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas in her arms, captioning it, “Kinda chic to be a little human’s safe space.”
The final picture in the carousel featured Nick holding Priyanka’s hand. She captioned it, “Kinda chic just to try… and see what happens.”
Through the trend, Priyanka offered playful snapshots of her journey, from her early days in Bollywood and major career decisions to love, marriage and motherhood.
