Parineeti Chopra and her politician-husband Raghav Chadha welcomed their son Neer last year. On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, their little one celebrated his first Rakhi with his cousin, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas.
Priyanka and Nick’s daughter sent her cousin a lovely Rakhi, and Parineeti took to social media to share a glimpse of the special moment. The Ishaqzaade actress shared a photo of her son’s tiny hand on Instagram’s Story section, with a Rakhi tied around his wrist. The Rakhi featured a vintage car design. Parineeti wrote, “Thank you Malti didi for my first Rakhi! Lots of love, Neer.”
Priyanka then re-shared the picture and added, “Didi loves you baby Neer.”

Neer is Parineeti and Raghav’s first child. The couple welcomed their baby boy on October 19, 2025, and revealed his name nearly a month later. They shared pictures of his tiny feet and described the name Neer as meaning “pure, divine, limitless.”
Soon after revealing his name, Neer also received a special set of gifts from his family in the US. Priyanka, Nick and Malti sent presents for the newborn, with Parineeti sharing her excitement and referring to Priyanka as “Masi,” Nick as “Masa” and Malti as “Didi.”
Meanwhile, Priyanka and Nick welcomed Malti Marie via surrogacy in January 2022. The couple have largely kept their daughter’s life private while occasionally sharing glimpses of her childhood and family celebrations. Malti was born prematurely and spent several months in the neonatal intensive care unit before returning home with her parents.
On the work front, Priyanka Chopra is set to make her much-awaited comeback to Indian films with SS Rajamouli’s Varanasi. She will also be seen in the American films Amri and Judgement Day.
