Bollywood actor, Saif Ali Khan was discharged from Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital in Bandra on January 21, 2025. His wife, Kareena, accompanied him as they were seen leaving the hospital together. The actor was stabbed six times by Bangladeshi national, Shariful Islam Shehzad, a.k.a Vijay Das, at his Satguru Sharan residence. Shariful had entered Saif’s building by scaling the compound wall. It has now been found that the security guards were sleeping.

A police official told PTI that Shariful had entered Satguru Sharan’s residence from the main entrance of the building, and during that time, security guards were sleeping. When Shariful saw that both the security guards were sleeping, he entered the building by crossing the boundary wall. He removed his shoes, put them in the bag, and switched off the phone to avoid any noise. The official added:
“During the probe, the police found that there are no CCTV cameras installed in the building’s corridor. The investigation revealed that one of the two security guards was sleeping in the cabin and the other near the gate.”
